Bless the Father of our Lord,
Who blesses us in Jesus Christ;
Spiritual blessings are adored,
Because of the one sacrificed.
He chose before the foundation,
That we be holy and blameless;
In love with His new creation,
Before Him, we honor to bless.
He destined us for adoption,
As per the purpose of His will;
While giving us the option,
For acceptance, He does instill.
Praise of the glory of His grace,
Which He accepts us through His Son;
With open arms that will embrace,
For giving comfort to each one.
For in Him, we have redemption,
The forgiveness of our sin;
Through His blood showing compassion,
The riches of His grace within.
He lavished wisdom and insight,
In which He abounded toward us;
The mystery that sheds the light,
He outlined His purpose as thus.
The fullness of time as a plan,
That all things in Him to unite;
Every woman and every man,
In Heaven and earth His delight.
